Conveyor Aging Ovens
Our Aging Ovens are used as part of the heat treating (precipitation
hardening) of aluminum and aluminum alloys. INFRATROL Aging Ovens
are designed and built to your specific requirements for part size,
production rate and thermal characteristics. Below is just a sampling
of some of the Aging Ovens we have built.
Electrically Heated Conveyorized Aluminum Aging Oven
Two Zone Electrically Heated Conveyorized Aluminum Aging Oven is used to artificially age harden aluminum engine blocks by precipitation heat treatment. The PLC controlled process includes vertical lift doors and an indexing belt conveyor. Every 15 minutes the doors open, the conveyor indexes forward one load position and then the door closes. This particular oven was provided to a Japanese Auto Manufacturer making cars and components in the US. Typical oven operating temperature for this application is 430°F (220°C) for 150 minutes.
