HALF-A-CENTURY OF EXPERIENCEHALF-A-CENTURY OF EXPERIENCE

INFRATROL Manufacturing Corp has been designing and building engineered-to-order industrial heat processing equipment since 1956. Our staff consists of skilled engineers, designers, metal workers and electricians are ready to transform your specification into a complete processing system. In addition, we have factory trained personnel available for field installation, field supervision and/or field service work.

shop floorINFRATROL can build a variety of equipment to handle a multitude of processing challenges. Whether the process requires curing, drying, aging, or tempering; whether the product line is made of metal, plastic, or wood; INFRATROL can build a system for precise processing of products as diverse as wood siding to electronic circuit boards. INFRATROL has the knowledge and expertise to build your system.

Our other capabilities include complete finishing systems, including total design, fabrication and installation of ovens, washers, and conveyor systems to meet your total production needs.

ENGINEERED-TO-ORDER

A project typically starts with a design specification generated by you, the customer, or by INFRATROL. After receipt of an order, a Project Engineer is assigned to your equipment. It is his job to finalize the equipment design and oversee the generation of General Assembly, Electrical Approval Drawings, and a Sequence of Operations if the equipment is PLC controlled. You are given a chance to review and confirm internal and external dimensions, operator control station location, interfaces with upstream and downstream processes and components to be used in the manufacture of your equipment.

After drawing approval is received, the Engineering Department utilizes 3-D drawing techniques to detail and finalize all design aspects of the equipment. The Project Engineer then releases material requisitions for purchase and drawings to the production floor.

OLD-WORLD CRAFTSMANSHIP

For the most part, all our shop personnel were born and raised in the Milwaukee area. Milwaukee, Wisconsin has a world wide reputation as a blue collar city, a place populated by people with a good work ethic. Our employees are no different.

Equipment typically starts in the Structural Department with a steel frame and supporting structure. Our fabricators start with full-length pieces of steel, cutting, coping, mitering, punching, drilling and welding until complete. All structural steel assemblies are then prime painted and top coated (with a color of your choice). The frame then moves down to the Assembly Department.

The Sheet Metal Fabrication Department for cutting and forming all the duct work and panels for the equipment using CNC shears, press brakes, and plasma cutters. They also put together the sheet metal sub-assemblies which are then transferred to the Assembly Department.

It is no surprise that the Assembly Department takes the items made by the other departments and puts the equipment together. This is where our quality workmanship is most obvious, as seen in the tight seams, square corners and an overall professional look. Concurrent with assembly, our electricians mount the operator and control enclosure(s), install conduit and wire the equipment.

If size permits, we completely assemble and test all equipment and test it prior to shipment. INFRATROL has its own internal standards with regard to temperature and airflow uniformity, heat-up time, and required safety protocols. All these (as well as any additional standards you might have) are reviewed and proven prior to the equipment being released for shipment.

CONTINUING SUPPORT

INFRATROL can provide any level of installation and start-up support that you may require. We have factory trained personnel available for field installation. If you prefer to use your own personnel, we can provide field supervision during installation. After installation, our Service Technician will be available to verify all safety circuitry, train operators and maintenance personnel and re-run any quality checks required prior to putting the equipment into production.

After being put into production, our equipment has a history of long and trouble-free service. In the event that a question or a problem does arise, our Service Department is available for spare parts, phone support or on-site assistance as required for any maintenance needed to return the equipment into production.

Our long term strategy is to keep your INFRATROL equipment producing for you, so your business remains profitable, continuing to expand so that you need to buy MORE equipment in the future. “Business goes where it is wanted and stays where it is appreciated”.
